If you are sincere about this, some funeral homes that people like you want to rent, but also at the funeral home require a very limited staff, most of which are licensed for a few funeral homes. If your interest in this area, you can go to a funeral of two houses and talk with them and maybe you can get your foot in the door.
No contractor set to interview the funeral, embalming or directly. The only state that will not necessarily be licensed as a funeral home is Colorado, but not yet admitted to practice embalming.
There is another option though. If you live in a state like Oregon, where I can be a lesson under the direct supervision of a licensed funeral director / embalmer. This is a little knowledge and skills prior to the study. Your condition may require that you go to school before you serve an apprenticeship.
Last but not least, a funeral, a morgue worker, you need to do the work would be to mow that funeral directors have no time to let him legally, such as lawn, vacuuming, or washing cars.
